Guest on First Night of the Proms
Last Friday, Anna joined Clive Myrie and Sandi Toksvig for the BBC Two broadcast of the First Night of the Proms. The season kicked off with Sibelius’s ever-popular Finlandia, Grieg’s dramatic Piano Concerto performed by classical superstar Paul Lewis, and Britten’s much-loved The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. The music was brought to life by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, with the BBC Symphony Chorus and BBC Singers under the baton of principal guest conductor Dalia Stasevska.
